Students were given a letter today, describing our Medieval Times feast next Wednesday, May 29th. We sent home a letter describing what we would like to do and some key ingredients to help us accomplish this feast. Our goal is to make it as AUTHENTIC as possible. Therefore, if someone is to bring in fruit, we would prefer just apples or grapes - nothing exotic.
Also, for some reason, I forgot to request drinks (Ginger Ale and grape juice), plates/cups and cutlery. If anyone is willing to donate these items, please write it on the bottom of the letter and return by this Friday, May 24th.
Parents are invited for our entertainment portion of the Festival. We have been practicing "Robin Hood Helps a Sorrowful Knight" - for which he/she should be practicing lines. Each scene was given to a different group of students, so that everyone is involved in some capacity of the play. We are also practicing a medieval song and hopefully a dance (I always try to pile in so much!). Lastly, we will have a few students present their "Medieval Job" application, which they are currently writing.
Last thing, if any of you have photos from our class, I would greatly appreciate a copy, as I'm trying to do a montage of the year for my last day next week; just a little something for the students by which to remember me.
If you have any questions, please contact myself or Mrs. Mosher.
