We had an exciting start to our week today, TWO butterflies emerged from their chrysalis during our lunch time today. Although we missed it, our E.A., Mrs. T, was able to film them. I cannot load videos onto the site, but I am able to upload photos. We will be releasing them either Wednesday or Thursday - a warm day with no wind. If you would like to attend, I can give you a time.
Tonight's homework: Read for 30 minutes. There will be a journal entry waiting for the students upon entering the class tomorrow about what they read Monday night.
Math: We are looking at patterns and place value.
Science: we are starting our readings on Habitats. We are still in need of several more 2L pop bottles. If you have them at home, could you kindly clean them and send them in? We will be building habitats in pop bottles. Does anyone know where I could find a "sowbug"? Anything to make it more authentic for the kids! :-)
Any questions or comments, please contact me.
Thanks,
Merdina Price
